Branding & Identity


Develop Identity, branding and a promotional campaign for a new lifestyle TV channel called 'Journale' with a target audience of 16-40 year olds for Diploma studies.



A logo and style guide was created, followed by a promotional campaign and presentation of concepts.


Logo rationale:  The lock and key represent unlocking your mind to what JOURNALE can offer the viewer through their channel. THE KEY unlocks the mind to the hidden adventures, people and culture. THE LOCK opens the mind to the endless possibilities the world has to offer through storytelling and photography.


A modern and sleek font was chosen with a colour palette that appeals to both genders. The navy represents the strong and masculine, and the olive represents the grounded feminine but with a sophisticated feel.
